TRIBAL ELECTRA is a band of musicians who believe the universe is more like music than matter. Angelic and eastern vocals over a fusion of electronica and house beats with electric and acoustic guitar, flutes and hand percussion, Boulder's TRIBAL ELECTRA creates sultry dance grooves with a vibrant world-beat and trance-electronica sound.

The repertoire includes global-fusion dance pieces that draw on Sanskrit mantras, ancient chants, Middle-Eastern scales, tribal hand percussion and Asian-fusion electronica. Our intention is to create music-dance-ritual events that are celebrations of the beauty and mystery of life.

The musicians in TRIBAL ELECTRA have been making Boulderites dance since 1998. Musical visionaries include vocalist ARIANA SARAHA of Sherefe and Angels of Alchemy fame, and electronica keyboard magic by ATTAR. We have been recently joined by EYAL RIVLIN, guitarist extraordinaire.

Since our debut performance at Denver University's WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL in the Spring of 2004, we have shared the stage with the likes of Lunar Fire / Kan'nal, ThunderBeat, Bhakti Rasa and Love Scene Clear at places like the Burning Man affiliated festival, Apogea at Dreamtime 2004, Dreamtime 2005, Solfest 2005, Boulder's World Spirit Music Festival, Colorado College, PinkE's, and The Republic of Boulder. In addition, we have produced several successful events on our own festival grounds, the "Double Rainbow Ranch."
